New Counselling Staff Joins Our Team

We're pleased to welcome three new licensed counsellors to our team, bringing additional expertise in trauma-informed care and family therapy. These talented professionals will strengthen our ability to provide comprehensive mental health support to the youth and families we serve across all three locations.

The new team members bring a combined 25 years of experience working with youth in care, and each has specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Their arrival comes at an important time as we continue to expand our clinical services to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve.

Enhanced Clinical Services

With the addition of these three counsellors, Eagles Nest Youth Ranch is now able to offer more individualized therapy sessions, increased group counselling opportunities, and enhanced family support services. Each counsellor brings unique expertise that will benefit our youth in different ways.

Our expanded clinical team specializes in various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), play therapy for younger children, and family systems therapy. This diversity of approaches ensures we can tailor treatment to each youth's specific needs and circumstances.

Commitment to Trauma-Informed Care

All three new counsellors have advanced training in trauma-informed practice, which aligns perfectly with our organizational philosophy. They understand that many of the youth in our care have experienced significant adversity, and they're skilled at creating safe, supportive therapeutic relationships that promote healing and growth.

The counsellors will be distributed across our Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and North Battleford locations, ensuring that youth at all three facilities have access to high-quality clinical support. They're already settling into their roles and beginning to build relationships with the youth and staff.
